Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh make a sizzling couple for Manish Malhotra’s show

The 10th edition of FDCI’s India Couture Week hosted a 7-day fashion extravaganza in New Delhi. The week-long gala ended on a glamourous note with Manish Malhotra’s grand finale. Closing the show in style, Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh sizzled on the ramp. The collection was a translation of his definition of feminism—where the modern woman embraces and fearlessly expresses her sensuality, a realm that has always belonged to a man.

Just before the show, Manish Malhotra gave a backstage walk through to the media attendees, showing all the hustle behind his closing show. “The collection is beautiful and something anyone can wear for a sangeet or cocktail party!”, explained Manish about his ‘Sensual Affair’ collection.

As the guests got seated, the show started with a beautiful synchronized sound of bells. The opening looks were in hues of silver, ivory, which were beautifully embellished. With the mood changing, the next round of collection was in dark colours of blue and red. The rich fabrics like velvet, satin, and silk created a luxe feel, while the skirt trails was another hit of the outfits.

The showstoppers of the show were no secret and everyone was waiting for Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. Bringing a twist to the show, first actor Ranveer Singh did a solo walk. The charming actor wore a midnight blue zardosi and thread-work embroidered sherwani paired with slim pants. He brought his own quirky style on the stage, waving and flying kisses for the front-row girls.

As he went back, Alia was seen walking the ramp in a sequined pearl blouse teamed with a voluminous tulle skirt. She was later joined by the actor on the ramp, where the dynamic duo showed off their chemistry as they walked. “This is my second time I am walking for Manish and it feels fantastic like every time,” Alia explained her experience after the show.

Even Ranveer couldn’t stop praising Alia and the floor-sweeping skirt. “Alia looks like a princess! The outfit is stunning and spectacular,'” he said in a statement.
